Fresh Turkeys for Thanksgiving

Our fresh turkeys are raised in Cannon Falls Minnesota by the Peterson family. John Peterson is a third generation turkey farmer. John raises his turkeys in much the same way his grandfather did some 80 years ago.
Fresh turkeys are all raised: Free Range, without Antibiotics and naturally processed.
Fresh turkeys receive a “deep chill” during the natural processing. This results in an ice shell of varying amounts on each bird. To ensure the freshest possible turkey we keep the fresh birds at a deep chill temperature, right at 32 degrees. Rest assured, our fresh turkeys have never been frozen and the ice shell will disappear after a couple of hours in your home fridge.
When do I pickup my turkey?
Turkeys will be available starting on Saturday Nov 23. All turkeys must be picked up by Wednesday Nov 27. We are closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday Nov 28.
What size turkey do I need?
We recommend accounting for 1 to 1.5 pounds per person. Do you have big eaters and the hopes of leftovers? Make sure you allow the 1.5 pounds per person. Fresh turkeys are raw and must be fully cooked before eating,
